Water Temp was up on last week at 12.8C Maximum Air Temp 15.5C Minimum previous 24 hours was 10C. Wind WSW 22mph with gusts to 33ph. Air Pressure 1010 and fairly steady throughout the day. 1st Qtr Moon 48% of Full. Moonstrike prediction was 5 out of 5.

Every peg was taken on M2 today as 31 anglers turned out to fish on a very mild October day. The pegs that produced the results were the ones towards the tree lined southern part of the lake, 4 of the top 6 weights coming from that...

Hi folks, been a while but through circumstances well beyond my comprehension. Finally managed to get back into yuku via a link Chav put on in MD's. Had a Trojan Horse or 2 galloping inside the pc and yuku wouldn't let me in even though my mate had done some serious re-installing cleaning out technical stuff to the thing. Lost a few things in the process but nothing of to much sentimental value. Hopefully my annus horriblis as far as computors are concerned is over and i can get down...

As i'm stuck for someone to fish a river with, ( won't risk it on my own ), i'm very tempted to visit a commercial ( as there usually quite safe ) as i'm itching to get out somewhere, ANYWHERE, just for a fix. Love the rivers, not keen on commercials. Should I, would you ? BRUCE, FOR GOD'S SAKE MAN, THROW A SICKY.

In this weeks rag mag, ( AT ) are offering a TOTALLY FREE pellet banding tool. All you pay is P&P. How good of them. The tool in question IS a great aid for banding pellets. Can anyone give me any idea when the members are going to turn up again please.....it has been months now since any kind of input on site..just one every two or three weeks, now please dont think i am knocking the site because i am not it is just that the site is not moving at all and has not been for months now.....although i don't use the site has often as i once did (you know the reasons why) i still do look in and if there was any kind of input (commitment) then i would use it a lot...

This Sunday, fishing for skimmer bream on the ledger ...4lb line, 14 fine wire hook, lilypads everywhere and hammering down with rain .......I sat under the umberella laughing .....untill she landed it......19lb 2oz......I think she`s a witch.....

The Barbel Society will be running it's 3rd open day/come and meet us, for members & non members on it's Sutton on Trent fishery on Sunday 19th July.

There will be no charge to attendees for entry nor fishing, however a raffle will be held on the day for some superb prizes...
