OK.. this is the last part.. you should now have followed my guide as to where and how to fish, you WILL have some carp in your net by now, ( on a commercial
)

DO NOT let that feed rate change, on the lead line, this is so important!! even when you dont get bites on the tip.!

ie 1 cube of the meat, and maybe 2 or 3 pellets every 30 seconds!. thats the 11mm pellets! The fish will come back to your feed, trust me on that. ;)

OK the margins,, you have chucked a bit of feed into I trust...

The lead method is "deadly" on the pole line Derek! You just need confidence with it.
Yes I drill a few 11mm pellets as a change bait on hair rigging, Usually after an hour on the meat. ;)
The basics are to chuck the lead out for 10 mins ok.... rewind then chuck it out again.
Target is a fish every 12 mins. equals 5 fish per hour.
On most commercials, this will get you in the frame ;)

Just had another thought, why fish the bomb rod at 14 metres, could you not fish a 14 metre pole for better accuracy and better presentation ? you could still
feed the cube of meat or pellet via a kinder type pot, but be more accurate than by hand or catapult.

Lester, i'm going to give your methods a try out in a couple of pleasure sessions, ( sorry, i don't fish matches ) i'll let you know how i get on.
Good series, very enjoyable.

p.s. why did you drill the 11mm pellets out, do you use them as a change bait in place of the meat ?
