Another wonderful sunny day, a return to Mosquito bank on the Dane and a repeat of the result achieved just 3 days earlier.
It has been some time since we had any rain here in Lithuania and the levels in the river Dane is as low as I ever recall seeing them. My seated position for this session was another 12 inches forward of my position three days previous and the water dropped by another inch or two while I was there.

The session started with fish coming swiftly to hand, mainly Bleak mixed with the odd Skimmer but as I kept stopping to record video I really never got into any kind of rhythm and by the second hour I was paying the price for not keeping up with my feeding as the session dropped off and the bites came more slowly.
Around me the swim was again filled with life with an abundance of Swan Mussels retreating with the water line further out into the deeper parts of the river.

With time I found the odd Roach but it wasn't until the last hour, my filming pretty much complete, that the session really took off with nice hand sized skimmers coming on almost every cast.

All in all a pleasant day by the bank with 102 fish caught in about the same time as it took to catch 101 last time out so par for the swim it seems.
