Sorry Mike, I have no idea I am a rod and reel man myself
You can achieve more with a kind word and a length of 4 x 2

Hello Mike i've been using Middy Hi-Viz dual core
yellow 5 to 10 had no problems with it, just set it to a soft tension, had carp upto 5lb on this with relative ease. Also soft enough for silvers. If at first you don't succeed - At least die tryin'

Set soft and well lubricated, I've found the Drennan Yellow (8-10 I think from memory) is fine for fish from a few ounces upwards.
Stepping down to the next one (the green I think as you suggest) should be perfect. Providing you're in a snag free venue this should more than cope with fish to 5lb+... If its a bit snaggy then I'd think about a soft set solid no 8 instead.

I would go for blue preston hollow, good stretch and will handle the bigger fish or black hydro these may seem a bit strong but they handle realy well.

Daiwa white hydro set soft ,handle roach no problem and will handle tench and bream also .
i use the white,,,and black in the power tops set tight and the preston bungee when targeting the bigger carp in the snags . 4-6 in the match kit 1 and 6-10 in another match kit ,and in the third match kit its daiwa white set very loose ,its a cracking all round laccie .
TO HOT TO HANDLE ,,BUT COLDER THAN ICE,

Hi mate,
Sorry I haven't been back. Busy busy busy. I use the Middy Hi-Viz 5-10 for all my silver fish work. Nice and soft with the ability to land any bonus fish up to the 5lb mark although if you handle it ok you will land fish much bigger. Hope this is of some help. Roo
