Those on the windward bank 43 to 57 seemed to fair best and the top 5
weights came from there. Joe Lari had a lot of fish in the reeds down his
margin into the corner to win the match with mostly carp for 66lb 10oz.
Steve Daniels christening his new Sensas pole caught a couple of early
fish up in the water and then caught down his margin for second overall.
The Results:-1st Joe Lari from Ipswich fishing the margins with pellet at about 2 foot deep had mostly carp to 4lb from peg 57 for a weight of 66lb 10oz 2nd

Nisa Waveney, down the margin with corn on peg 44 had 42lb 1oz 4th Peter
Sawyer, from Ipswich, also caught down the margin on pellet on peg 46 for
30lb 10oz 5th Peter Binks, Walton on Naze, fished paste down the margin on
peg 45 caught 29lb 0oz 6th Graham Howe, Viscount Tackle, fishing down the
margin from peg 50 weighed 23lb 1oz. 7th Les Cook, Woodbridge, fished a
method feeder to the trees from peg 73 for 19lb 10oz
