Posts: 1347 9-Jul-2008 19:48 "Tawny Owl"	Tags : hot Windows has posted 3 new updates on it's upgrade site. If you download these and then experience problems with connecting to the Internet on restarting remove the "Security update" upgrade. I've been scratching my head the last hour trying to figure out what had happened to my Internet and it wasn't until I "System restored" back two days that everything worked OK. The only thing that had happened in between then and now was the upgrades tonight. That's when all the problems started. The other two upgrades are fine. Posts: 1874 9-Jul-2008 20:26	Roo, that's typical of windows to put out an update that screws with your internet Trouble is though that if they have already downloaded the update they wont be able to see your warning Are you still enjoying your new job? You can achieve more with a kind word and a length of 4 x 2 Than you can with just a kind word

Posts: 1347 10-Jul-2008 04:17 "Tawny Owl"	Bruce, Let it download them and if you get any problems go into Control Panel, Add and Remove Programs, tick Show updates and then remove the most recent Security Update. Restart your PC and all should be OK. You may find that your PC will try and download it again but just select to ignore that download. Hope this is of some help. *Roo*
