i'll try to explain a bit.

well i'll tell you what, it was superb. obviouslly not as big as the nec. shows but not far off. on entry got a goody bag containing dvd's, line, mags, shots & the usual promo stuff. good to see all the top names too & get a chance to speak to them.
also good to see the likes of preston, garbolino,trabucco etc. show off their stuff too
beer was a bit pricey £3.20 a pint of warm p**s, but hey, everyone hikes the prices up at these shows, exibitions & stuff don,t they.
now then i walked away with loads & loads of freebies...preston rigs, shakespear line/floats/elastics/ pole bungs, ultima line of all stregnths & types, 6 baseball caps, at shirt & more.
it was a great day out, i went with 10 others from broseley ac in the (our clubs) mini bus.

one of the funniest parts though was, i took some of the lads to meet giles cochrane, so he could explain more about the hook in loop method, giles asked 0ne of his m.a.p guys to the shakespear stand to get line, a float, shots & a hook so he he tie a rig properly for us. after explaining all,(about 10 minutes) i asked for a winder, took the rig off giles & put the rig straight round the winder, thanking him very much. my mate p**sed himself laughing wondering how i had the balls to do such a thing. brilliant. so now i have a rig "as made by". i will try it out on monday, i'll let you know how i faired with it.

even though you could only buy & take stuff that was patent owned by a company, you were able to order what you wanted from whoever, but not take it away with you.it had to be sent to you via home or tackle shop.
if you get the chance, (provided there is one of coarse) get along to the next one, & forget the nec show. free under cover parking too & very little walking
