, so i changed over to the pellet waggler and put a halibut 8mm double with paste wrapped round had nothing then a chub took it, how it got the two
pellets in its gob, god only knows it was about 1lb i kept feeding my margin swim and under the tree, so i switched back to the tree and hooked a carp straight
away and landed it about 3lb, last 20 minutes i switched to my margin nothing had moved in except some bream and a chubb that i had, i could see that others
were catching small roach all the time
.
And so the all out was shouted and weigh in had began the first lad in my age group got 5lb 6oz, next it was a lad fishing near the lillies, but he lost a carp right at the death, snapped him in the lillies gutted!
he had 3lb 2oz the
lad next to me weighed in he had a carp and all bits, for 7lb 8oz he was fishing maggot in front of him all day, he lost a carp on 6 elastic took him under the
same tree and snap!
. So it was my turn scales some round and i picked my
keepnet up out of the water and you know yo have had a good day when you here the fish splashing!
i had the biggest bream of the day, and one carp would of had 3 but like i said
before lost them out in the open water, on the scales it came to 12lb dead,
so i won my section by 5lb, the other sections were under 11's and 12 to 14 year olds. Had about 15 people all together today good turn out.
Iit is a scheme called "GET HOOKED ON FISHING" it is a series of matches fished every two weeks, and the winner after the for matches in each section gets to go and fish with John Wilson on his private lakes in Norfolk!
and i have won even though there is one match to go no one can catch me i came 2nd in my fist match followed by 1st in the second match and today the third
match 1st again! as i have the lowest average!!
Can't Wait!!
