Well the end of close season is not far away now and everyone one will be eager to get on the banks again but i just wonder how many have been doing there
homework you know looking for new swims to try a little prebaiting even because a few hours just walking and looking can be so rewarding when the season gets
under way,plan in advance i say and reap the rewards

I'm off tomorrow to view my syndicate water ,a private stretch of river ,and to make sure the hedges are cut correctly and lawns trimmed etc ready for the
new season & the beats are all spick & span ,And i'll be checking johnathan the streward has the drinks on hand for the workers in the fishing
lodge .
As for doing my home work ,i'm always doing it ,if i think of someware i want to fish ,i'll do a map search if i don't already know it (do one anyway) check t out on aerial view ,then i'll plan my journey ,and play out the days fishing ,tactic's ,methods casting every detail blow by blow .then i'll visit the place if its new ,then revise my plan and re-live the whole day again n my head .then i'll turn up on the appointed day get everything ready and just right ,i'll remember the plan i'd gone over & over in my head and fish it completely different.

Chav looks like we have a lot in common,plan it to the last detail and do it all differently but hey aslong as we enjoy it that's what counts |

I do that ste ,get a plan on how to fish the match , and then on the day do it all completly diffrent ,
TO HOT TO HANDLE ,,BUT COLDER THAN ICE,

I couldn't do it to anyone. Even if i did it inadvertently and someone came along and said they had pre-baited I'd move as it is unlikely I would be fishing the area of the swim they had been feeding or even fishing for the same species! |
