Can anyone recommend a chair for pleasure fishing. I don't need one of those super-comfy chairs that seem to be designed for carpers, but the lightweight
stalking chairs look too flimsy. Is there anything in between?

If you have a look on wmac web site ,there is a nash hooligan chair ,not to heavy and ideal for your needs ie extending legs mud feet ect and ar 30 00 quid ,its a good price to mate ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, breamking

Welcome to the forum Breamaddict, you are right there is no reason why you shouldn't buy the cheapest chair, after all the fish don't worry what chair
you're sitting on
As long as you are comfortable on it then that's all that matters 
You can achieve more with a kind word and a length of 4 x 2

Very impressed with Trev's Tackle. I ordered the chair, some line, a Polaris float and a catapult on Tuesday afternoon, they arrived Thursday morning. The
chair seems perfect - not too big, not too "carpy". And thanks everyone for being so helpful.
