Posts: 1887 2-Jun-2009 22:15	yes still on ,i've been really busy latley making floats for charity auctions and work etc .And me fishing don't really get started untill june 16th ,went fly fishing but no catch too report ,but will be fishing on the 17th with witnesses ,hoping for a bream or two & a chub or three things have been slow over the closed season period on here (mind you none of the other site's have been all that busy) ,but things should pick up with the comming coarse season and long hot summer steve I try to be funny... but sometimes I merely look it

Posts: 1887 4-Jun-2009 12:33	oh yes its on ,i was there on sunday for a work party / looksee ,watching the chub spawning ,and the wild bream marching up and down there regular haunts ,there was even a possible carp seen in the river and tiny barbel .And i'll bring a selection of centrepins with me ,but i've removed the braid from some and put mono on them as braid fishing is probably best left until the basic's is sorted .quite looking forward too it steve I try to be funny... but sometimes I merely look it

Posts: 1887 5-Jun-2009 12:42	you should bring a 10 - 13ft float or avon rod if you aint got a stool or portable chair (theres some in the lodge but i'll have a spare pair of stools too hand ) ,a pint or two of maggots some bread .or worms ..and slugs if you can find any .i'll bring the reels ,we have gas so can have something cooked or just tea & sarnies etc in the luxury anglers lodge . i'll send directions later steve I try to be funny... but sometimes I merely look it Last Edited By: chavender 5-Jun-2009 12:48.
